Unlocking the Secret of iPhone's Photographic Styles
Discover the hidden iPhone camera trick that makes all your photos look like they were shot on Kodak Gold film.

A recent discovery has left a photographer in awe of the iPhone's hidden features. While taking pictures with her daughter, she stumbled upon a secret Photographic Style that makes all her photos look like they were shot on Kodak Gold film.
The style, called "Amber," is one of several options available on the iPhone. To access them, users need to swipe left on the Photographic Style menu, which is usually accessed by swiping right. The Amber style gives photos a warm and vibrant tone, reminiscent of film stock.
In addition to Amber, there are other styles available, including Gold, Rose Gold, Bright, Neutral, and Cool Rose. These styles are more reminiscent of film stock than the styles found when swiping right, which include Vibrant, Natural, Luminous, Dramatic, Quiet, Cosy, Ethereal, Muted B&W, and Stark B&W.
The photographer found that shooting with the Amber style makes everything look bolder, warmer, and more vibrant. She compared the difference between shooting with the Standard style and the Amber style, and found that the Amber style gives photos a more "real" look.
One of the best things about the Photographic Styles is that they are completely reversible, as long as the photos are shot in HEIF format. This means that users can change the style of their photos at any time, even if they were taken months ago.
## Changing a Photographic Style
Changing a Photographic Style is a simple process. To do so, users need to go to the photo they want to change, tap the adjustment icon, and then tap Styles. From there, they can see which style the photo was shot in and move through the different options available.
## The Fun of Photographic Styles
The photographer found that the Photographic Styles are a fun and creative way to take photos. She suggests being more toddler-like in her approach to using the iPhone, and trying out different styles to see what works best.
The Photographic Styles are a great way to add some creativity to your photos, and to make them look more like they were shot on film. With the ability to change the style of your photos at any time, you can experiment with different looks and find what works best for you.
